Rev. Dr. Jared Hiebert is passionate about proclaiming the glory of God in the church. He is an unashamed proponent of Reformed theology and is committed to seeing the gospel and biblical truth boldly declared in the church through expositional preaching, theological education, and discipleship. In addition to his love for good works of theology, church history and philosophy, Jared is an avid sports fan (the Denver Broncos & Montreal Canadiens top his list) and a lover of camping, golf, movies, gaming and his two dogs Molly and Willow (Beagles).

Jared was born November 21, 1972, in Steinbach, MB, Canada. Jared moved around a lot as a youth, living most of his life in Alberta. It was only after he returned to the land of birth in his early twenties that he met the love of his life, Tanya. Within a year they were married. Jared and Tanya have two children.
In 2000 Jared completed a Masters of Divinity (Honours) from Providence Theological Seminary in Otterburne, MB. Immediately following the completion of this degree, he took a teaching position at Peace River Bible Institute in Sexsmith, AB as the Professor of Theology and Bible. It was during his four years of teaching at PRBI that Jared developed his heart for Bible-based, gospel-centered discipleship. In 2004 Jared left his teaching position, moved his family to Philadelphia, PA and began working on his Ph.D. at Westminster Theological Seminary in Historical and Systematic Theology (Minors in Apologetics and Church History). It was a wonderful experience for his family, but after two short years in the City of Brotherly Love, they moved once again, this time back to Steinbach, MB. He continues to live in his town of birth where he preaches, teaches and mentors present and future pastors while fulfilling the role of Lead Pastor at Covenant Reformed Church.
